Cannot recommend enough. We stayed in the Stage Coach, a mid week stay in November with my toddler and teen. We all loved it! It was warm, clean , high spec throughout. We had use of the Hot tub and used it for star gazing and sunset …views spectacular. Plenty to do for kids all ages , from pool to fairy walks around the farm …lovely hosts too . 100% will be back !

We arrived late on our bicycles from the royal canal13k away so we were very tired.our host showed us to the shepherds hut which was just fine for the two of us.there is a games room on site with a TV and a cosy communal area with little fire pits everywhere.firewood was provided and we were soon snug and warm. There is a Chinese or Indian takeaway device nearby who for 10eouros will deliver, all facilities were spotless and families and kids were having a great time outside their double decker bus accomodation. The owner was very friendly and helpful .his son runs a little sweet shop on site.We slept like logs would highly recommend this place the owner has. .put in a lot of work..a credit to him .

Glassen Glamping was a wonderful family experience. We stayed in the Lakeview apartment which was great as we had our own kitchen facilities and bathroom. There was a lovely stove fire in the apartment which is handy to warm the place up on a cold evening. The games room for the children was well equipped and utilised by them. The walk to see the donkeys and the chickens were a great attraction for the kids. The outside facilities were also great for cooking and sitting by a stove with no shortage of timber. I would definitely recommend Glassen Glamping for a fun family holiday. I must say the hospitality from the owner went along way , we enjoyed Adrian's company in the evening and getting to know more about the area. 5/5 for hospitality.

Highly recommend. This was our 8th year going Glamping and we start somewhere different every year. We stayed in the red bus and the facilities are like nothing we have had before. There was even a usb charging port in the bus. There is a bathroom on the bus, your own fridge kettle, large sitting area inside. Very comfortable beds. Huge games room on site for kids with table tennis, pool table. Comfy outdoor sitting area with stove. Loads of great activities near by. The owner is very nice and was very helpful. We will definitely go back.

Great Holiday Glamping! Had our yearly holiday with friends at Glassen Glamping, spent 5 nights had both the school bus and the Horse box with hot tub. Accommodation was spotless and beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen and own bathroom with shower in each, constant hot water. The communal facilities were very clean and all kitchen utensils you would need are provided. Pizza oven, bbq's, dishwasher and washing machine on site. Communal showers were immaculate, Games room had everything to entertain kids in the evening, a lovely green area in the campsite for kids to play, very safe and peaceful and only 20mins from Athlone. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Quirky, remote place, nice experience Arrived on a very wet Friday, our key was hanging in the kitchenette of the Shepherds hut. The Shepherds hut has a bunk bed and a double bed, a kitchenette outside and a toilet/handbasin attached. All very clean and well equipped. The double bed was really comfy, a couple of more pillows would have been nice. There are 2 communal showers and toilets only a few metres away - again all very clean. There are also full cooking facilities, bbq, fridges, pizza oven, washing machine, we didn't use them due to the dreadful weather. There is also a large games room with pool, table tennis, seating area and a few other games. You are beside/on a full working farm so you may be woken by the cows :) There is a nice 1.5km around the farm where you see cows and donkeys. All in all its a quirky place with loads of potential for more play areas for kids etc. But we really enjoyed it , it was a novelty for our 5 year old even if the weather was awful.

Glamping paradis Extremely comfortable tent. It was my first time glamping. The surprise birthday cake I bought got damaged on our way to the resort, the chef fixed it beautifully and brought it to our table with candles. We were treated like stars The 3 course meal was delicious, I should have ordered the birthday cake with them as they make that too. I had ordered the romantic package for a supplement, we had flower petals everywhere, even on the jacuzzi. The shower wasn't cold, it was lukewarm.. Perfect!

Loved it The absolute best stay . I highly recommend. We went as a couple as we were attending a wedding in Glassan lake house however I would highly recommend for families. I can’t wait to go back with my Son , the facilities they have are brilliant and for kids . They have a game room , outdoor seating and indoor , fully equipped kitchen and we even had our own kitchen and so much space as we stayed in the Apartment and it was way too much room for just two people . Brilliant for groups also . Adrian is more than accommodating and helpful . The grounds and views and absolutely stunning . Looking forward to going back .

Hen weekend! Stayed on the farm for 1 night for a hen party and had the best experience. Adrian couldn’t have done more for us. Everyone in our party loved the quirkiness of it all. There was a large room on the grounds where our entertainer could set up for the activity which was amazing as we didnt have to leave the site until that night. We arrived back to find a cozy fire in the snug where we carried on with the karaoke machine!! Highly recommend this place for a weekend away

Will be back! Stayed here in cold rainy October and had the most fantastic time. Hot tub was a brilliant addition even on the cold night! The accommodation was well heated and beds were very comfortable. Adrian was so accommodating and helpful with any request we had. Great set up with the pizza ovens/cooking and showering facilities. Would definitely recommend for a night or two stay.

More than a pleasant surprise! First of all, let me tell you I am not "a glamper"! Far from it, if truth be known. The only reason I ended up staying here was because of Daisy, our little dog as we couldn't find any other accommodation that accepted dogs. Whilst my sister, brother in law and their little girl checked into their lovely nearby hotel, myself, my little girl and I apprehensively put Glasson Glamping Farm into Google Maps. Although the site is only a couple of miles from the lovely little village of Glasson, the narrow winding roads make it feel a lot longer the first time you drive. And what a fantastic surprise we were met with at the end of a lane! We stayed in the Lavender Wagon, which is a retro style caravan with a converted horsebox divided in 2 to accommodate a small kitchen and bathroom. Everything was spotless and the caravan comfortable. There was only 2 of us and Daisy, but the caravan would sleep 4 comfortably. There was also a kitchen to share and a very comfortable seating area in front of a roaring stove. The games room for the kids is better than I have seen in 4* hotels and provided endless entertainment for my little girl who met up with other kids on the site. Each little pitch has its own pit for a fire to roast marshmallows which is great for the kids and adults to sit around and chill with a beer. Loved this place, its small, feels very safe and is spotlessly clean. The owners are very hands on and helpful too. From chatting to seasoned "glampers" there, this is 5* glamping. Definitely worth a visit.

Big Red Bus Myself, 70 year old mum, 5 and 3 year old boys stayed here last week. Fantastic experience, very relaxed, comfortable beds, all facilities you could think of and more there for your convenience. Toilet and mini kitchen on bus. All other facilities right beside and very clean. Games room fantastic for children. Really safe area for children to roam under supervision. Beautiful views. Although very rural only 5 mins drive from glasson village with restaurants and large centra shop. 25 minutes from athlone. The place is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The host Adrian attends regularly to check everyone all ok and offer advice if needed but is by no means intrusive. Only downside was that we hadn't booked to stay for longer. My son tells Me we are staying in the green bus next time.

Cosy, comfortable and quirky stay. ☺ Quirky and comfortable in a good location. ☹ Inconvenient that towels were not provided. It’s not a hostel and prices are not far off a hotel so wouldn’t be unreasonable to provide them. Pity all the internal ditches were cut. Could look at a more eco friendly approach.

Excellent, cosy quiet spot for a group of friends meeting up ☺ The School Bus was really comfortable, we could turn the heating on ourselves to keep us warm and cosy. There were enough mugs, glasses etc for everyone staying. Lovely, peaceful and quiet ☹ N/A

Girlie catch up.. Hot tub Superb!! ☺ This was fabulous spot for a girlie break away. We stayed in the stage coach which was so pretty. It had everything we needed and ws toasty warm. Therefore 4 of us and there was plenty of space. The beds were surprisingly very comfortable. Outside we had our own space. There was an area that was covered so we could sit outside. The gas heater ensured we were warm. The most amazing part was the outdoor wood burner hot tub. This made our night. We spent 2.5 hours in this. Considering it was middle of October and weather was cold, we were super warm in the hot tub. Also the scenery was fab and nice and quiet I would definitely go back again. It was perfect for a girlie catch up. It would also be suitable for a family with 3 kids. ☹ There could have been more glasses and mugs.
